The Neojibá concept is a training programme which is establishing cores of orchestras and choirs for the children and youth of the State of Bahia, focusing on achievement and social integration through the collective practice of making music. This stratagem focuses on building an ethical and educational structure for young people through participation in orchestral and choral practices, training in music education using new techniques and repairing musical instruments. Besides being an initiative of an artistic and cultural nature, Neojibá supports the wider education and training of children and adolescents, focusing on transmission and propagation of knowledge.
